KOH TARUTAO NATIONAL PARK
Tarutao National Park were declared Thailand's first national maine park in 1974 and reserves by UNESCO in 1982. It consist of 51 islands in the group, Ko Tarutao is the biggest island in the Tarutao National Park which most popular for visitors who would like to have a nice vacation in Thailand. It used to be the prison for long term punishment and political prisoners.
Tarutao National Park Located in Satun province, 973 kilometres South of Bangkok, it is famous for the spectacularly colourful of soft and hard coral and long white-sand beaches of Tarutao, Adang, Lipe and Rawi islands. Nowaday you can have 3 days for the trip but if you'd to explore the 4 main islands, Need time enough at least 7 days. I believed that the great place which you'd love to visit again.
HOW TO GET TO KOH TARUTAO NATIONAL MARINE PARK
Getting to Tarutao island is easy, starting with a flight to Hat Yai and take about 2 hours by Van to Pakbara port and then by speed Boat directly to Tarutao Island:
Pakbara port ToTarutao Island everyday at 10.30 a.m. and 14:00 p.m.
Back to mainland: Two boat at 09.00 and 14.00
